Gigaset S675 Review

We've noticed a growing interest in cordless VoIP phones. A number of our customers have asked about DECT (Digitally Enhanced Cordless Technology/Telecommunications) hardware, and whether or not these devices are any good with our service. Since we do focus on being a business phone service provider, we don't always recommend DECT phones because they are mainly aimed at a consumer market. That means they're often slim on features that businesses need; great for talking around the house, but not so great if you want to get fancy.

We recently reviewed the Gigaset S675, a DECT IP phone from Siemens. Unlike other DECT solutions we've tried in the past, the S675 comes with its own branded version of wideband audio, HDSP. It has a large backlit color display, easy-to-navigate menus and more extra features than you can shake a stick at. The S675 even handles 3 way conferencing and attended transfers pretty well.
