Odoo Connect 2025 rolled into the Bay Area like fog through the Golden Gate, and the OnSIP Team was delighted to mix and mingle with Odoo customers, partners, and staff members!
Over the course of two days, September 4-5, 2025, the renowned Pier 27 on The Embarcadero in San Francisco, California, transformed into the epicenter of open-source business innovation, where over 4,000 tech enthusiasts, partners, and professionals gathered to connect, collaborate, and chart the future of enterprise solutions.
OnSIP was thrilled to be a Premium Sponsor of the event. Our team of Helene Kidary, Vice President Channel Sales, Eden Harvest, Sales Engineer, and Michael Stewart, Senior Account Executive, staffed our vibrant booth on the event floor and hosted lots of great conversations with existing and prospective Odoo customers, many of whom are looking to integrate VoIP calling into the rest of their Odoo world.
Using live demonstrations and overview videos, our team showcased the Odoo VoIP integration with OnSIP hosted VoIP. The cloud-based communication solution integrates our calling and collaboration features with the broader Odoo business product suite.
The intuitive Odoo VoIP widget is a softphone that sits within the Odoo user interface. Users can make calls from any device with an internet connection—whether a computer, smartphone, or laptop. But the integration’s main strength lies in its seamless connection with Odoo apps like CRM, Sales, Helpdesk, and Invoicing.
“We had a great time showing people how to connect the Odoo VoIP widget with OnSIP,” says Eden. “Most of the prospects we spoke to weren’t aware of Odoo's VoIP integration capabilities with our service. It was really rewarding to see the excitement on their faces once they saw how this integration can help them create smoother workflows and reduce admin tasks.”
Users can access all contact information with one click, perform supportive tasks while on calls (such as scheduling meetings or sending emails), and gain one-click access to Odoo contact records, order details, and internal notes. The Odoo-OnSIP integration transforms manual and tedious calling with an interconnected business communication hub that keeps all customer interactions and follow-up tasks organized within a single interface.
The conversations around and reactions to this integration from current Odoo users were inspiring. Our team also had many fruitful meetings with Odoo’s marketing and implementation teams that strategized ways on how we will strengthen and expand our partnership.
Odoo partners from across the globe also gathered at the event to share insights and explore new opportunities within the Odoo ecosystem. Attendees engaged in meaningful discussions, heard keynote addresses, and exchanged best practices for helping customers optimize their operations. The event highlighted the collaborative spirit of the Odoo partner community, emphasizing innovation, growth, and the collective commitment to delivering value across industries.

The Odoo Team held an incredible event right on the waterfront. Pier 27 hosted a sizable exhibitor floor and large spaces for attendees to join informative talks and demos. And with views of the Bay and Alcatraz Island, it was so nice to be able step outside and say hello to some sea lions! The OnSIP UV protectant shades we offered as booth swag came in super handy, as it was (surprisingly) not foggy.
Our time at Odoo Connect was more thrilling than a ride down Lombard Street in a Waymo, and we’re already anticipating next year’s event.
