Our team travelled to Las Vegas last week for ITEXPO, the country's premiere business technology conference. Team members spoke on panels, discussed our offerings, and showcased InstaCall and The OnSIP Network, our latest WebRTC solutions. The gathering attracted a range of service providers, carriers, enterprises, resellers, and developers of all molds, and it marked the final stop on our "WebRTC Event Tour" this summer. We were excited to be there, and here's what happened.

OnSIP CTO John Riordan Leads Panel Discussions

OnSIP CTO John Riordan kicked off the week with the panel "Service Providers and Smart Voice - How Do They Fit Together?" John teamed up with Alon Cohen from Phone.com to discuss the need for better feedback on service quality issues. "I enjoyed being on the panel with Phone.com CTO Alon Cohen," John said. "Quality issues are certainly a crucial point in business technology. It's important that we develop ways for customers to qualify and articulate service issues as clearly as possible."

On Wednesday, John gave a talk entitled "Crushing It With WebRTC." The talk highlighted how ASPs can quickly add and easily maintain communications as a feature to their offerings by leveraging a Cloud RTC platform such as OnSIP. It also covered how telecom resellers can benefit by selling solutions and setting up engagements between RTC Platform providers and enterprises that would like to embed RTC in their own applications. Finally, the talk considered how telecom agents can resell OnSIP's InstaCall, a WebRTC-based solution that allows any company to add one-click video sales and support to their website.

Nicole Hayward Talks WebRTC Enterprise Solutions

OnSIP VP, Marketing and Product Management Nicole Hayward participated in a panel shortly before John's talk. She joined Billy Chia (Respoke), Jeff Dell (Empirix), Sajeel Hussein (CafeX), and moderator Chris Vitek (WebRTC Strategies) to talk about the solutions WebRTC can offer enterprises. This session covered how WebRTC has grown from the depths of Google Labs into a technology with high commercial viability. Nicole discussed the current solutions WebRTC offers enterprises that use or implement real-time communications in their day-to-day operations.

"I enjoyed participating in one of the first panels of ITEXPO," Nicole said. "I spoke about current technical hurdles for enterprises and service providers looking to implement WebRTC-based solutions, such as interoperability, infrastructure, and current state of adoption. Billy Chia made a great point to that end on how web and mobile developers will leverage full stacks that lower these barriers for them."

Booth 200 Rocks The OnSIP Network and InstaCall

Other OnSIP team members set up camp at Booth 200 in the Enterprise WebRTC Solutions Pavilion. They showcased The OnSIP Network and InstaCall, our latest WebRTC ventures. The OnSIP Network is a signaling platform for WebRTC developers built atop our mature SIP signaling infrastructure. InstaCall allows a user to initiate a voice or a video call at the click of a button, all via an embeddable HTML button.

"This was my first time attending ITEXPO," said OnSIP Senior Marketing Analyst Joe DeBari. "It was an interesting and educating experience. Our team was able to successfully demonstrate our InstaCall and InstaPhone features, exhibiting the important benefits these features can offer a business while also proving the power and capabilities of WebRTC."

Thanks for a great conference! We look forward to next year's ITEXPO.
