Today the Channel Partners Expo floor opens up in just a few hours, but I thought I'd post a few pictures from yesterday at booth 626. As you can see below, we've got a Polycom VVX 500 registered with OnSIP at our booth. IT Consultants and VARs have been eyeing this slick, new phone model with a glossy finish, reflective LCD screen, and the tip-top sound quality we've come to expect from Polycom. One passerby even asked, "Can I touch it?"
To the right of the VVX 500 there is a monitor with OnSIP interfaces on display. Visitors are encouraged to take a test drive of our intuitive administrative portal and UC browser interface, my.OnSIP. So far, I've noticed visitors seem interested in the interfaces and have even asked about our API to customize their own. The biggest trend, though, is of astonished looks when we say, "We don't charge per user or per phone - just application and phone usage on a month-to-month basis. Oh and you can use any SIP phone you like."
