VTech VSP600/601/608 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_grey_24

The following review was conducted in February 2017.

VTech is a relative newcomer to the SIP business phone scene. They’ve had a long history of making wireless phones, so their release of a wireless DECT SIP phone seemed like a bit of a gimme.

We were lucky enough to be sent several VTech models, including the the VSP600 ErisTerminal® SIP DECT base station, as well as VSP601 cordless headsets and a VSP608 cordless deskset. The VSP608 is interesting, because it only needs a power connection to operate, and not an Ethernet connection.

Polycom VVX D60 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_grey_24

The following review was conducted in September 2016.

The Polycom VVX D60 is Polycom’s first DECT phone for the VVX series. In Polycom's words, the VVX D60 "leverages previous IT infrastructure investments" to work. In our words, this is a phone that needs another phone to operate. Specifically, the VVX D60 requires a VVX, 3XX, 4XX, 5XX or 6XX Polycom phone to function.

Panasonic KX-TGP600 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24 star_orange_24

The following review was conducted in November 2015.

The Panasonic KX-TGP600 is the newest iteration of the TGP series of DECT phones from Panasonic. As a cordless IP phone solution, the TGP600 offers increased mobility and versatility for wireless phones. And its ability to handle 8 simultaneous calls is pretty mind boggling compared to the bare bones entry level phones we've been reviewing in the prior months.
