What Is Odoo?

Odoo was founded in Belgium in 2005 as an organization called ‘TinyERP.’ Edouard explains that “The goal [of founder Fabien Pinckaers] was to create a fully open-source ERP system that was both flexible and affordable for small and medium businesses.” Over the following years, the company grew rapidly, expanding its suite of apps, releasing major new versions, and undergoing a couple of rebrands. “In 2014, the company rebranded to Odoo to reflect its adapted business model (Open-Source and Open-Core),” he says.
