The OnSIP Channel Team was excited to join our Chorus Communications friends at their inaugural Who’s Who in Technology, Baltimore, on June 4, 2019. The event, branching off from Chorus’s long-running Who’s Who in Technology, Philly, brought an entertaining day of learning and networking to the Charm City. OnSIP also returned as a three-time Technology Display Sponsor of Who’s Who in Technology, where our team members enjoyed the opportunity to meet face to face with Chorus Partners there.

Who’s Who in Technology: A Day of Learning, Networking, and Fun

Chorus Communications has been hosting the impactful Who’s Who in Technology, Philly, for 12 years now. The annual event brings together Chorus Partners, Suppliers, and other tech businesses for informative presentations on emerging technologies and trends, as well as networking opportunities for attendees. And to make it truly unforgettable, Chorus always sprinkles in a bit of fun! Past events have included Philadelphia Phillies alumni Tommy Greene and a meet and greet with Philadelphia Eagles Center, Jason Kelce.

Helene Kidary, Vice President Channel Sales, OnSIP, Chuck Dunne, Channel Support Manager, and Mike Curtin, Channel Account Manager, all gathered at The Engineers Club of Baltimore to participate in the first-ever Who’s Who in Technology, Baltimore. As one of the Technology Display Sponsors of the event, we were happy to showcase our Gartner®-recognized UCaaS and CPaaS platform to Chorus Channel Partners and discuss how OnSIP would be an asset in their portfolio of business services.

We also demonstrated our trailblazing web calling feature, sayso. Using sayso, website visitors can experience instant voice or video conversations with a business’s sales or support representatives right through their browser windows—a real game-changer in how SMBs sell and service their customers.

OnSIP was honored at the chance to return as a Technology Display Sponsor. We’ve been a previous sponsor at their 2017 and 2018 Who’s Who in Technology, Philly, events.

Featured Presentations and Special Appearances

In addition to the technology displays and networking cocktail party, Who’s Who also featured presentations by Data Canopy and Comcast Business (to name a few). The Baltimore Orioles Bird even made a special appearance to stress upon attendees the importance of tweeting to customers! ;)

"I've said it before, and I’ll say it again; Chorus never disappoints and Baltimore was no exception,” says Helene. “The quality of Partners was tremendous, and they came out in droves. Our messaging at this event was strictly sayso, our latest and greatest disruptive feature. The response was overwhelming and met with pure delight. We’re the only ones offering this type of web calling in the UC space, and we are grateful to Chorus for providing us this platform to show their ecosystem the next generation of how SMBs will communicate with their customers."
