Reliability and Scalability

OnSIP was built with redundancy in mind. We utilize redundant servers, routers, Internet connections (all Tier 1), and upstream carriers to provide an extremely reliable VoIP service. In addition, we own our hardware and network in 2 colocation centers located on 60 Hudson St, New York, NY and One Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. As such, our services are redundant and never compromised by load balancing with others, which can happen in a virtual hosting environment.

The OnSIP team has created a patent-pending process for horizontally scaling SIP proxies. Our proxies successfully distribute user location, NAT/firewall traversal, and sequential request routing to reliably accommodate thousands of customers.

Save with SIP

Because of our strict adherence to SIP standards, OnSIP is compatible with any SIP hard or soft phone. We don’t lock you into certain hardware, and our services are pay-as-you-go. Plus, all SIP-SIP calls are free, and there is no charge per user. Simply pay for calls over the PSTN and services you use.

Platform

OnSIP is a hosted business communication platform with a unique integration of SIP and XMPP hosting, combining presence, video, and voice. Using the OnSIP Admin Portal, administrators can create users, extensions, voicemail, auto attendants, business hours, ring rules, and more - everything you’d expect from a business phone service (hosted PBX). Each OnSIP end user is also given free access to my.OnSIP, an intuitive interface to chat, click-to-call, view other coworkers’ presence, as well as check their voicemail.
