Outbound Calls
The my.OnSIP user interface can be used to make outbound calls. Clicking on the ‘Create a call’ button will bring up a dial-pad. Once a number has been entered and the ‘Dial’ button is pressed, the phone registered to the SIP address will receive a call from call-setup@onsip.com. Picking up this call will initiate a connection between this device and the number dialed.
Open Lines
The ‘Open Lines’ tab tracks all the calls currently in progress. When there is an incoming call, a call bar will appear within the tab displaying the Caller ID in the browser. While the call is in progress, users will have the option of either terminating or transferring the call by using the two buttons within the bar.
Transferring
Clicking the transfer button brings up a dial-pad for the user to enter the number of the person they would like to transfer the call to. Users can also transfer calls internally by dragging the calls bars to team members within their company ‘buddy list’.
