Announcements

Announcements are a simple but powerful tool to deliver important messages to your customers, partners and stakeholders. Basically, you can play an announcement to callers when they reach a particular routing point in your hosted pbx service.

Why use this feature?

System or status alerts

Let's say you have an important system alert or maintenance status which you want to communicate to your customers. Simply record your system alert or maintenance status as an announcement. Then route calls to your main number, support group, etc. first to the announcement. Callers will hear the important message without taking the valuable time of your support reps to answer questions about the important information.

Advertisement Responses

In response to print, radio or online advertisements, you can have an unlimited number of incoming callers dial a number and hear your important recorded announcement. You can even then route the call anywhere in your hosted pbx, including a voice mailbox for data collection or a queue of sales people taking live calls.
