OnSIP News

We've hit an important milestone here as depicted in this photo from my office yesterday. I wonder if anyone can tell. A little help with some of the artifacts in this photo:

Polycom phone: No, we're not celebrating our acceptance into the Polycom Field Verified Partner Program. That happened last year.

In the past few weeks, the agent program as added 6 new agents. And, because of the agent program, 6 more organizations are benefitting from OnSIP. Here's a brief description.

Welcome Agents

Digital Aspire, a full service Information Technology consulting organization in Tampa, FL, area has started deploying OnSIP for their clients.

Tommy Tutone, I owe you an apology for not calling you back.. So many calls, throughout the day and night, every day of the week for years. You have to understand, you SCARED me!

HELLO....FREAKY STALKER!

I know you found my number on the wall like all the others before but seriously; did you really think you could just call me for a good time? I was not that type of girl!

Recently, we announced Music on Hold (MoH) is here. We hope you've been enjoying the ability to customize your callers' on hold experience with thousands of music options. Today, we've taken another step in this customization: MoH in HD Conferencing.

The conference MoH is the music that plays when only one user has entered the conference bridge and is waiting for the others to join. You can edit the music stream for a particular conference bridge by editing that conference bridge under Apps.

There’s some important work being done in our New Jersey neighborhood.

A Little Background

We’ve got two offices: one in New York City and one in northern New Jersey. In New York, there’s a Starbucks in the building. And, let’s just say, thanks to the free Starbucks office policy, Starbucks at 55 Broad Street, New York, is doing just fine.

We are happy to announce that, today, we are officially releasing OnSIP Music on Hold (MoH).

What's the big deal? You may ask. You're probably accustomed to sitting on hold for other businesses, listening to sleepy music and cursing your wasted time. Well, OnSIP MoH isn't your typical MoH experience.

Back in June, we were a sponsor of TWTRCON NY. TWTRCON is a one-day conference focused entirely on the business use of Twitter. Speakers from small to large businesses present case studies and tips for reaching out to customers, running promotions, and more.

Also attending to learn about Twitter for business, MSNBC show Your Business interviewed small business owners. And guess who was interviewed... Rob Wolpov, President of Junction Networks.

Too Busy To Listen To Voicemail?

Recently, we've had a few customers tweet and email, asking for a popular feature: voicemail transcription. Particularly, Phonetag was the recommended service to use, so we decided to ty it out.

As OnSIP already sends voicemail to email, it seemed natural that we could forward the OnSIP voicemail email to Phonetag for transcription; and, this is exactly what we (along with out friends at Phonetag) did.
