Let Your Website Visitors Call with a Click: OnSIP InstaCall (Beta) Now Available

Last week, we gave you a sneak peek of our latest feature, OnSIP InstaCall (Beta), on our own website. Today, we are excited let you know that this feature is available to customers in the OnSIP admin portal! Just beta-launched, InstaCall allows your website visitors to get in touch with you with the click of a button and have a rich communication experience (video coming soon).

InstaCall (Beta) is the first release of "context-based calling," which allows you to handle the call based on the caller's context for more seamless CRM:

  • Create any number of InstaCall buttons, each with a unique caller ID tag so your team knows from which webpage your visitor clicked to call.
  • For each button, decide where to send the call based on the page the caller is viewing. For example, if your website visitor is on your pricing page, send them directly to a Sales queue and don't waste their time with other options that aren't pertinent to them!
  • If you have a Google Analytics account, take advantage of our Google Analytics integration to track call information as Events.

What's more: Not only is this feature completely free with an OnSIP account, but the web calls your website visitors make are completely free as well.

If you're using the latest Chrome or Firefox browser version, click on the button below to experience our own InstaCall implementation— no dialing or plugins required. If you call us from here, we track that you called over the web from our blog. Also, in case you're interested in the tech side of things, this feature is made possible through Web Real-Time Communications (WebRTC).
