The American Business Awards is the premier business awards program in the United States. This year, over 3,200 nominations were submitted for a wide spread of award categories by businesses that range from public to private, for-profit to non-profit, and large to small. Out of this exceptionally large pool, OnSIP was awarded the Business Innovation of the Year for our partnership and integration with Panasonic System Communications Company of North America. President and Cofounder of OnSIP Rob Wolpov received the award at the 11th Annual American Business Awards in Chicago on Monday, June 17th.

“This year’s American Business Awards was outsized in every way,” said Michael Gallagher, Stevie Awards founder and president. “More entries and more judges than ever before, and I’d have to say the most impressive collection of nominations we’ve ever received." The Stevie® Award for Business Innovation of the Year – Business Products recognizes an innovation in product and/or marketing, sales, manufacturing, or management by an organization. The nominees are culled from every sector of the economy, and 320 executives nationwide make the final decisions.

Our partnership with Panasonic was first announced in February this year and has resulted in many end customer success stories, such as Scobis Company's quick phone system deployment after the Missouri-based manufacturing company experienced a fire that destroyed its previous phone system. As a Panasonic SIP Hosted Preferred Partner, we’re providing our enterprise-grade cloud communications services alongside Panasonic’s high quality SIP phones for a complete solution— no interoperability testing needed.

“Today, businesses are faced with many fragmented phone hardware and service offerings to meet their increasingly sophisticated communications needs,” Rob Wolpov said. “This is a great example of two companies working together to create a product offering that is much more than the sum of its parts.”

“Panasonic is proud to share with OnSIP a mutual commitment to providing valuable and affordable telephony solutions to end users in all business environments," said Kim Murtagh, Product Manager for SIP Endpoints at Panasonic. "That dedication to customers' needs is evident in their success, and we congratulate them on today's award.”
