Announcing Call Park Feature on OnSIP

We're very excited to announce that we'll be offering call park to all of our customers starting today. Our call park app, which we call Parking Lot, is easy to use. Each call park channel is an empty spot where you "hold" a call, allowing you to move your conversation to any other phone in your OnSIP phone system. The process of parking is as simple as transferring:

  1. While on the phone with your call, park the call by pressing *44.
  2. Listen for our parking attendant to tell you the spot number assigned to your caller.
  3. Hang up. If you're going to have someone else retrieve the call, let them know the spot number.
  4. Retrieve the call by dialing *45 and entering that spot number and then #.

Parking lots are available in sets of 15 channels for $14.95/mo per set. Customers subscribed to our Small Business package get 1 set of 15 channels added to their phone system for free. Medium Business package subscribers get 3 sets. You can activate this feature from the apps tab of your OnSIP admin portal. More information can be found on our Call Park features page. For configuration instructions, visit our Knowledgebase.

We're happy to note that we've been getting a lot of positive feedback from our beta testers. We'd love to hear what you think about our Parking Lot app in the comments below.

Call Park & Phone Firmware

What phones & related firmware have you used to test this function. We have various Polycom & Gigaset phones. I just tried it with a call from a VVX-1500 to a PSTN number and it didn't seem to work.
