Counterpath is a leading provider of VoIP softphones for business. Since our Bria for iPhone review, we have been particularly impressed with Counterpath's advancement in the mobile softphone space. Some of us even use Bria for iPhone on a daily basis to replace our work phone. As such, when Counterpath asked us to join their mobile certification program for Internet Telephony Service Providers (ITSPs), beginning with the Bria for iPhone, we gave an excited, YES! Counterpath has officially announced the ITSPs certification program today, which ultimately provides end users with greater ease in configuring Counterpath mobile applications. To support this program, OnSIP and other ITSPs provide optimal configuration settings with their service. Then, when first configuring the iPhone for Bria, our end users can simply select OnSIP from a drop-down to skip various set-up steps; all users will need to do is add their SIP user credentials!

“Joining CounterPath's ITSP Partner Program and certifying our OnSIP Hosted PBX service with Bria iPhone Edition was an obvious choice for us," said Robert Wolpov, President and Founder of Junction Networks. "OnSIP was specifically designed to provide small and medium-size businesses with access to enterprise-grade PBX systems. Partnering with CounterPath has now given us the ability to offer these services within a first-class, enterprise-grade mobile softphone."
