We are happy to announce that Mike Oeth, CEO of Junction Networks, will be attending this year's ITEXPO East in Miami, February 2-4. "ITEXPO is the event with an educational program that teaches resellers, enterprises, SMBs, and Government Agencies how to select IP-based voice, video, fax, and unified communications to purchase or resell," describes the ITEXPO website. Aside from enjoying the escape from the snow in the North, Mike will also be participating in a panel discussion on hosed versus on-premise VoIP. “Switching to an IP-based phone system is often an easy decision when factoring in cost savings and the availability of rich features. However, the decision to either purchase your own equipment or choose a hosted model is not quite as simple, and many struggle with this decision,” said Mike in this press release announcing his panel participation. Mike is no stranger to the hosted versus on-premise PBX discussion. Last year, Mike attended a VoIP Users Conference point-counterpoint debate called PBX Choices. This was a fun, live discussion meant to be a bit over the top to expose the positives and negatives of each solution, depending on a customer's scenario. This time, Mike will take a look at IP telephony setups from all angles, discussing even when a hybrid solution is most optimal. Stay tuned for more news on Mike's ITEXPO East experience.
